Control Leader

Are you an experienced auditor ready to take the next step toward a leadership position? We are seeking a motivated professional to grow into the role of Audit Team Lead within a dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy firm based in the Netherlands.

As an upcoming audit leader, you’ll play a crucial role in planning and executing assurance engagements, mentoring junior colleagues, and contributing to the quality and efficiency of audit operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be involved in activities for statutory annual accounts audits and/or related assurance assignments. In order to perform properly, you will regularly be on location with clients, together with a team of colleagues.

• In this role, you will also be supervising assistants and interns.

• As a team, you are responsible for planning and meeting deadlines.

• In addition, you advise on business processes at the client and assess risks. During this process, you regularly consult with the client, the manager and/or accountant.

• A bachelor's degree, preferably in the field of accountancy.

• 3-5 years' of experience in audit practice.

• Good command of Afrikaans and English, both written and spoken. Dutch is beneficial.

• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.

• A hands-on mentality.

• Drive, team-orientated, and comfortable taking initiative.
