SENIOR HARDWARE ENGINEER

Hours: Full-time

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer that is already located in the Netherlands to strengthen our client's team

Your Responsibilities

Our client is the global market leader in innovative machines for grading, packing and processing eggs. From design, development, production and installation to service all this can be found in Barneveld.

As a Senior Hardware Engineer you are primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of machine controls:

• Developing modular and configurable solutions by converting (complex) technical designs into electrical engineering drawings. Of course, all fitting within the set specifications and quality requirements.

• Verification and validation of the design through simulations, test executions and reviews.

• Drafting and maintaining product documentation such as user manuals, bills of materials and revision management.

• Proposing and implementing improvements in the current R&D working method, e.g. implementing standardization.

• In addition, as team leader you will play an important role in improving the work processes, getting better insight into schedules and supervising team members. 

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role are a must.

• Knowledge of and recent experience with the EPLAN Ecad software package.

• Dedication and passion for implementing chosen solutions.

• Knowledge and experience with standards and guidelines are a plus.

• Proficiency in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
