Project Engineer - Electrical Control and Instrumentation
This role
As an Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer, you will work on various water-related projects for our client. These projects involve process installations for applications such as process water, demineralized water, and ultra-pure water. Additionally, you may work on projects for water boards or drinking water companies focused on water purification or drinking water supply. In this role, you will oversee the complete design of electrical and instrumentation installations for water-related projects. You will collaborate with a team of engineers specializing in Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines, providing leadership, coaching, and motivation to ensure project success.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing electrical and instrumentation installations for water-related projects, spanning all project phases from concept to detailed engineering, while translating client requirements into actionable designs.
Delivering final designs that meet client needs with a focus on safety, sustainability, and maintenance feasibility, while maintaining control over project costs, quality, and timelines.
Collaborating with fellow engineers and project leaders to ensure seamless project execution.
Distributing tasks within the project team and mentoring team members, taking into account their personal development needs and areas of expertise.

Function criteria
Educational Background: HBO (higher professional education) level, with qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience: Proven track record as a (Project) Engineer in Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and guide a team of engineers.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in Dutch.
Preferred Knowledge: Experience in water-related projects, EPLAN software, UAV-GC contracts, and Systems Engineering.
