Security Engineer - Consultant

As a Security Consultant, you will take on challenging roles as an advisor, CISO, security officer, security architect, risk manager, or product owner. You will empower organizations to strengthen their security posture and align their security objectives with business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct threat and risk analyzes to identify vulnerabilities, opportunities, and risks.

• Advise organizations on effective, affordable risk mitigation strategies, balancing people, process, and technology.

• Help organizations measure and report on security effectiveness, providing tools for continuous improvement.

• Develop information security policies, protocols, and procedures in line with industry standards such as ISO 27001, BIO, NIS2, and DORA.

• Assist in implementing security frameworks and best practices to align with business objectives.

• Provide advice on responding to security incidents like data breaches and cyber-attacks to minimize organizational impact.

• Support certification, assurance, and audit processes (eg, ISO 27001, SOC2, DigiD).

• Completed university or college education in IT, security management, or business.

• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC/SANS, OWSec).

• Minimum 3 years of experience in advising, implementing, and improving security policies and measures.

• Minimum 3 years of experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NEN7510, CIS Controls, NIST CSF.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management.
