Hardware engineer (Medior/Senior)
This role
We currently have an open position for an experienced Hardware Engineer in our R&D department. In this position, you will work on the development of our egg sorting and packaging machines as part of a multidisciplinary team.
As a medior/senior Hardware Engineer, you are responsible for developing and maintaining machine modules.
Developing modular and configurable solutions by converting (complex) technical designs into electrical drawings. Of course all within the stated specifications and quality requirements;
Verification and validation of the design, including simulations, test executions and reviews;
Preparing and maintaining product documentation such as user manuals, material lists and revision management;
Propose and implement improvements in the current R&D method, e.g. implementation of standardization.
For a senior or mediator engineer with the right ambitions, there is also the opportunity to take on additional team lead responsibilities. As a team lead, you will play an important role in improving work processes, gaining better insight into planning, and guiding your team members to an even higher level.

Function criteria
Bachelor's degree level of working and thinking, preferably a completed education in electrical engineering;
Multiple years of experience as a hardware engineer;
Knowledge of and recent experience with the Ecad package EPLAN
Involvement and passion in the development of the chosen solution
Knowledge and experience of standards and guidelines is an advantage
A good command of the English language and preferably the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
