As a .NET Engineer in our Software API team, you will be a crucial part of building and optimizing our next-generation API solutions. We are looking for someone who can help us take things to the next level. You will:

• Design and develop high-quality API solutions that form the core of our software products; optimize and expand existing APIs to improve performance, security, and user experience;

• Collaborate with other teams, such as the Software Portal team and Product Management, to ensure smooth integrations while contributing and advising on architectural choices, implementation strategies, and best practices within our .NET framework;

• Act as a sparring partner to your Team- or Cluster lead about the right next steps for the APIs; be a mentor to junior and mid-level developers within the team, actively contributing to their growth;

• Look at the infrastructure critically and show your expertise while you engage in discussions as someone who truly knows what they're talking about.

We're on the lookout for a talented individual who fits the bill. Your qualifications will be crucial for your success in this role:

• BSc or Master's Degree in an IT-related field with a mathematical brain for our calculation engine (yes, we do love numbers)

• 8+ years of experience with .NET (you should know versions 7 and 8 like the back of your hand) and be on top of the latest .NET trends—no laggards here!

• Experience setting up an Azure environment (clouds are not just for daydreaming) and you know your way around DevOps activities (CI/CD pipelines are your playground)

• Architectural principles knowledge (let's build something amazing!). Experience with SCRUM and Agile methodologies (you’ll be agile like a ninja)

• Experience with test frameworks within .NET (xUnit, NUnit—let’s get testing!). Postman experience is a nice bonus (bring your mailman skills!)

• Code and infrastructure security know-how (OWASP Top 10, good coding practices—safety first!) and a willingness to mentor junior developers (because sharing is caring)
