Senior Deployment Engineer (DevOps)
This role
Our client is expanding their R&D team and is looking for a skilled Deployment Engineer. You will manage software pipelines, ensure quality in releases, and support cloud deployments. Responsibilities:
Ensure timely delivery of software releases.
Support cloud software delivery.
Set up and manage deployment pipelines with engineers.
Test software for quality, security, and reliability during development and delivery.
Contribute to system improvements, testing methods, and release processes.
Act as a point of contact for colleagues regarding software, releases, and incidents, maintaining documentation.

Function criteria
Requirements:
Bachelors degree
2–5 years of relevant work experience.
Experience with scripting, pipelines, Linux/Windows environments, Azure, deployment, virtualization, containerization, and databases (relational/non-relational).
Proficiency in Afrikaans or Dutch.
Traits:
Solution-driven, analytical, and communicative.
Agile and DevOps experience with a team-oriented approach.
